Medical check-ups, consultations and the treatment of benign and malignant diseases require long-standing know-how and experience. With the possibility of minimally invasive techniques, patients today recover much faster from surgical interventions. Women in all age groups who experience physical and emotional changes are the focus of our practice.
Every woman, from the age of 20, should consider regular gynecological check-ups. As a gynecologist, I recommend these be conducted annually, or every 18 months at the very least. Health insurance covers the cost of a routine check-up every three years as an obligatory service.
Routine examinations may include:
Palpating the breasts to check for abnormalities
A pelvic examination and extraction of a cancer smear
Examination for STDs
Depending on each patient’s situation, we will talk about different screenings that might be needed. In addition, we frequently discuss the topics of contraception, family planning or hormone replacement therapy.
Individual consultations may include:
Evaluation, consultation and therapy for menstrual complaints or irregularities
